My Incontinence Is Out Of Control

Learn how some post menopausal symptoms are getting the best of this woman's life.

Case #: 971

Concern:

I experience urinary incontinence when I orgasm using a vibrator. Urinary incontinence when jumping in within fifteen seconds. Also urinary incontinence shortly after beer or wine. Please help. I did have an infection in the bladder in my early thirty's.

Discussion:

I feel as if I've become quite a weak-bladder expert over the course of this past year. Having developed one myself, I've ended up doing countless hours of research to find out what brought this on all of a sudden. I used to be able to go hours without having to go to the bathroom if I had to. But by the middle of this year, the urge to go was so bad, I could barely wait five seconds.

Urinary Incontinence

I found that this actually touches a lot of women's lives at one time or another. It occurs when a woman uses a vibrator because over use of vibrating toys damage the nerves centered around the urethra and bladder. It may also induce excessive inflammatory hormones to be produced. This over stimulates the sympathetic nerves, causing incontinence.

As far as alcohol is concerned in the matter, it most likely has done some damage to your liver and has reduced the enzyme support in your liver. The support of the enzymes is what synthesizes DHEA, testosterone, DHT, acetylcholine, serotonin and GABA to a proper and inflammatory hormone suppression. I could be possible that you have a deficiency of DHEA, testosterone, DHT, acetylcholine, serotonin or GABA.

Incontinence Causes

Besides alcohol, there are a few other causes for female incontinence that could be affecting the problems you're having. Other causes include, but are not limited to; Urethra atrophy, tissue shrinkage, or a weakening of the pelvic floor muscles.

Women who are post-menopausal have a high rate of urinary incontinence as well, because of the lower testosterone and estrogen levels we experience during the transition of menopause. Estrogen plays a large part in vaginal health. If the levels of estrogen are imbalanced in any way, it can lead to pretty predominate problems.

How To Fix It

Luckily, there are some great herbs out there that can help your situation. Natural remedies that include herbs such as Dong Quia, Astragalus Membranaceus, and Cononopsis Pilosula are great solutions to bladder control and frequent urination. (TRY: Overactive Bladder & Urinaray Incontinence Formula) The herbs work together to strengthen the pelvic floor, sphincter, and bladder wall muscles. They will also reduce the sympathetic nerve activity and modulating hormones.

I would also urge you to seriously consider putting the vibrator and alcohol aside for a time while using these herbs. Your body needs the proper amount of time to heal in order to really fix the incontinence problem.
